About BTST

BTST is a full-metal writing-instrument and EDC (everyday-carry) manufacturer based in Shenzhen, China. Our own brand launched in 2023; before that, we spent decades producing OEM contract work for renowned Japanese stationery houses — metal cutting, turning and finishing. That manufacturing experience and its quality standards carry straight through to our own-brand products.

The Dog Series Pen-Carry Pen is BTST's original three-in-one full-metal writing instrument, combining a pen holder, a ruler and a writing pen in a single body.

The holder and barrel are made of solid 304 stainless steel, while the tip and tail use high-strength aerospace aluminum, CNC-machined and anodized for color. It has real presence in the hand and a stable writing feel, and comes in five colors.

The magnetic closure is its signature moment: cap and barrel share the same diameter, and the cap seats with a crisp, satisfying click — smooth to open and close, with no loose or lost caps. Multiple pens can be connected end to end magnetically, so you can build your own color combination. A laser-engraved scale runs along the body for quick measuring on the go.

The name comes from the loyal-dog motif — loyalty, companionship, reliability. It is a pen you write with, warm in the hand, carried with you, and keep for years. The all-metal structure resists drops and wear, the body can be washed, and it takes standard refills (G5/G7 size) that are cheap and easy to find.
